Can you imagine the frothy hysteria the right would whip itself into if Obama went to a joint that sells pizza by the slice and ate his slice with a knife and fork, like Palin and Trump did last night? They’d fall all over themselves to bring back the whole stupid “he’s a liberal elitist who eats organic arugula” narrative back to life again. A photo of Obama carefully slicing his slice would be the lead image on Drudge for 24 hours at least. Ann Coulter would go on Hannity and call the president a faggot. What a bunch of smelly assholes.
Look at these pictures…THIS IS HOW A REAL AMERICAN PRESIDENT, ONE WHO SHOOTS THE WORLD’S MOST WANTED TERRORIST IN THE FACE, EATS HIS PIZZA, YOU FUCKING PHONY WANNABES!

I use it because it’s how I talk. It just sounds natural to me. And I think profane things tend to be funnier. I’m just wired that way. I gravitated to dirty comics when I was a kid, and that guttural style of comedy stayed me with me. It feels more honest to me when stuff has swear words in it, even though I know that’s mostly an illusion. But I’m extremely gullible like that. I use profanity and I write in all caps and I know both those things are generally hallmarks of idiocy. But if it feels natural to me, and if it feels like, “This is the best way for my brain to talk to your brain,” then that’s what I do. When it comes to blog posts and stuff, it should feel like you’re having a conversation drunk at 3AM with your friend. It shouldn’t be buttoned up.
– Drew Magary on the use of profanity in writing. I’ve ALWAYS said the same thing about blog posts — that they should read like bar conversations. Whereas newspaper articles, books, etc. need to read more like conversations you’d have at a dinner party with strangers. I knew there was a reason I liked this guy. This wasn’t really part of the plan, but since this track is out there we wanted to let you hear it here first, or maybe second. Enjoy

Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.
